Is anyone in the group familiar with this company and how they're leveraging Drupal?
Thanks!

As of right now, there are no people listing Adrenna as their employer, past: http://drupal.org/profile/profile_companies/Adrenna or present: http://drupal.org/profile/profile_current_company_organization/Adrenna
A google search of Drupal.org also shows no hits for the company name.
They appear to be offering a Drupal-based LMS, but they do not appear to be in any way active in the community.

How ironic...
Their site is built in WordPress. That doesn't give me any confidence in their leverage of Drupal.
it looks like glue
We actually just talked about this in #drupal-edu. Apparently they got mentioned n in a journal article and got a lot of buzz.
Just from the videos we found out it used
Outline Designer (http://drupal.org/project/outline_designer)
Quiz (http://drupal.org/project/quiz)
Quizlet (http://drupal.org/project/Quizlet)
and bits of OpenAtrium like Atrium Folders (http://openatrium.com/)
Love to Hear from Someone at Adrenna
I'd love to hear from someone at Adrenna to explain a bit more of their situation. I find this page: http://www.adrenna.com/open-source-lms to be especially misleading.
I agree with the above assessments about the fact that adrenna.com seems to be promoting "Adrenna Academic® Open Learning Platform" which is quote: "Built on top of Open Source technology." In my mind, "built on top of Open Source technology" equates to the general usage of things like Linux, PHP, MySQL, etc., which are the backbones of most web dev today. In reality, Adrenna's learning platform is an adaptation (or "rip-off") of OpenAtrium distro and various Drupal modules.
Quite a few of us who build and contribute modules to drupal.org, especially for education stuff, probably have a bitter taste in our mouth when we watch videos such as these: http://vimeo.com/39711504 (especially when you compare it with original OpenAtrium stuff from a few years ago: http://vimeo.com/10283561).
That said, I'm perfectly happy to have people rip off my work to create cooler stuff. I share stuff to make the lives of site builders and web developers easier. I share back because I get so much to start with too.
My distaste (I imagine the distaste of others) comes from the fact that Adrenna took a ton of time to list the benefits of Drupal and schools using Drupal but didn't spill any ink on ANY of the modules they are using in "their" learning platform.
