drupaled.org not representative

We encourage users to post events happening in the community to the community events group on https://www.drupal.org.

In its current state the drupaled.org site is not very representative. First of all the welcome page is an 'access denied' error. The about and glossary pages give 'a page not found' error. The link to the SVN repository (https://svn.bryght.com/drupaled) is also 'not found'. New user accounts are not accepted either.

Is there a reason the site is nu up-to-date or maintained? I am willing to help to put it all back together if this is due to lack of time or people for instance.

We're getting there, but slowly

I've been working with the folks at Bryght to bring the site live again as a resource for educators using Drupal -- my thinking was that g.d.o can be the resource for discussing/collaborating on the config details for DrupalEd install profiles, while drupaled.org can be the resource for educators of all levels using Drupal -- a place where folks can discuss pedagogy, classroom best practices, and technology, not just technology.

With that said, time has been a limiting factor in bringing the site live -- I'd love any help anybody wants to offer --

Cheers,

Bill
