I'm trying to implement the flags module with an event. Basically, turning the default "bookmark this" flag to an "attend this" flag. In the display options I have checked "Display link on node page"; I have chosen the node type "Event"; I have designated the "authenticated" user to be able to use this flag; and I have enabled the "javascript toggle".
For some reason, the link is not showing up on my event node.
Any clues?

A good way to test would be
A good way to test would be try the same functionality in a base Drupal installation with no custom code or custom javascript. If it work, it's easier to fix...
