RSS feeds?

Congrats on the move. The Topic Pages look well done, and I think they're a great idea.

Any reason there's no RSS feed for them, though? In Drupal it sometimes seems easier to create one than omit them, and i'm just curious if there was an intention reason behind this, because I can't find RSS anywhere on the site.

The commenting system and use of ImageCache all around also looks awesome.

They should have feed ....

The topics are variants of a Panels override of taxonomy pages ... so there should be a corresponding RSS feed. We're probably missing something in the templates to expose it. I'll try to remember to take a look Monday.

For each topic, there's a term and a node (special content type) that contains the summary.

Can mobile user switch to full site?

I read through the post on your site, and congrats on the launch. One question: Can a mobile device user explicitly choose to use the full-featured site instead of your mobile version?

I ask because on some devices, like the iPhone, for example, it can be quite frustrating at times to get stuck on a mobile "optimized" site that's missing a particular bit of functionality and not have the ability to switch to the full-featured site.

Should be

It may not be fully working yet, but there's a link on the mobile version that I think should set a session cookie that lets you switch to the full version if you wish. The switching happens out on the Squid layer, not in Drupal, and it's been a secondary concern as we got the site up and running. There are some tricky issues with HTTP headers that have to be 100 percent ironed out to make the Squid layer cache anonymous sessions without getting tangled up with authenticated users.

I am interested in which modules you used for breaking news notifications. I like that it is integrated with the User record.
