I could add the german weekly Newspaper Die Zeit (my employer).
We do NOT use Drupal for our primary Site, but for almost everything UGC. http://kommentare.zeit.de http://uni.zeit.de
I like the wiki page, but should there be some distinction made between sites using Drupal for sub-sites/side projects/products like the Drupal driven "Mom sites" several Gannett papers have been pimping (yes, pimping!), community sites like SavannahNow associated with a paper, and papers using Drupal for their primary site like the NY Observer?
When my wife did her thesis on evolution of online journalism, she compiled a database of the content management systems used by newspapers at the time. We originally planned to maintain this as a wiki and graph the changes over time, but after discussing the state of online news with hundreds of web editors and new media directors, Jackie decided that there wasn’t much of a future for many papers based on the approach their parent companies were taking and steered clear of the newspaper industry completely. Maintaining the database on my own was too much work.
What about J-School's using Drupal for their projects? Is there a place for OurTahoe.org and The Zephyr in this list?

Should we answer to this question via comments?

Create a wiki page
Wiki would be best because anyone could add to the list. Would you include alt-weeklys, magazines, and hyperlocal community sites?

That's why I went for "media sites"
Hey, come one, come all. And if you want to divide it further, there's always the H3, H4, etc. tags.

change
It's a tough call. I just moved SavannahNOW, because they run both newspaper content and UCC through Drupal.
