I am attempting to get all authenticated user submitted stories to display on the front page. They should include the title and a short teaser. I have enabled this content type and checked published and promoted to front page in the work flows section. I have also made sure that all users have access content permissions.
However I am still not getting user stories on the front page. I am using the zen_trevor theme. Is this a theme issue?
I am not sure what to try next. Also, please let me know if I should post a question like this elsewhere. I have asked about this in the main forum, but it seems like I have exhausted the suggestions there.
Thanks

Need to adjust admin settings for the home page
Navigate to http://example.com/?q=admin/settings/site-information --
On this page, you will be able to adjust the page that is used for the home page. If, for example, you want to set the home page to display all new site content, set the home page to "site"
Site, btw, is a view I created -- you can look at the settings of this view by navigating to http://example.com/?q=admin/build/views/SiteContentAll/edit --

Bill, Thanks for the
Bill,
Thanks for the information. I think this going to be a big help in creating the front page that I need.
I guess that I can go to http://example.com/?q=admin/build/views/ and add/create a custom view? Then I will set the home page to the new view?
Thanks again for the suggestions.
Yes --
This is exactly the way!
Using views like this allows you pretty precise control over what appears on your front page.

I followed the fresh install directions and everything seems fine until I go to log in after importing your sql file. I get a blank screen. There is not login in page. ??
