Quiz

Hey everyone! I'm excited to have found Quiz. I'm wondering if anyone has any examples of using Quiz they'd like to share. Or maybe just a brief description of how they're using Quiz such as integration with video, how many quiz-takers, maybe even rewards such as certificate of completion. Thank you!

The first alpha of the quiz assignment module has been released today.

Hopefully, most should work. There are some features that still needs to be dealt with, but should not cause to module to not work.

This module aims to solve the problem of handing in files as part of a quiz.

When added to a quiz, the user will be given a file input field to use to upload locally stored files to the server. The quiz ownerer can then download this file and score it.

I am new to the Quiz module, so you will have to forgive my ignorance.

I am trying to figure out a way to send different emails to both the test taker and test author depending on whether or not the taker passed or didn't pass the quiz. I notice in the Quiz settings there are options for basic notifications, but this sends the same email whether or not they passed or not. I would like completely different emails to be sent depending on pass or fail. Is this possible?

I'm using the "categorized random question" selection method in a quiz, and it works really well. But I'd like to be able to do more complex selection than just matching a single category. The most important thing for my purposes would be to have the quiz select (say) 10 questions that match one of three different categories.

I'm trying to use regular expressions to evaluate short-answer questions with the quiz module (rc10), and I keep getting error messages. The module doesn't seem to recognize things like brackets where they are standard in regex syntax. Can anyone tell me what regex expressions are accepted by the module? Is it documented anywhere?

PS, I've had a support-request posted on the issue queue for 5 days with no response at all. Kind of disappointing.

I'm just starting with drupal and it's kinda rocking my world. I'm feeling confident I'll be able to use it to develop the software for my dissertation research, which will include a quiz component.

Quiz RC 10 has now been released. It includes many bug fixes, and also four new features. (Yes, we made an exception for these features. Generally no new features are allowed in Quiz 4)

The two most important features we've added are categorized random questions and the ability to jump between questions.

Categorized random questions allow quiz to randomly select a given number of questions from a specific term, and a different number of questions from another term.

I've recently implemented the quiz module and was asked to add a quiz scheduling/notification feature. For example...once a user passes a quiz, automatically schedule them to retake it a year later and send a reminder email a few days before.

I've looked into the Rules module a little and I think this could be accomplished by adding Rules integration to the Quiz module. Specifically, a "User has passed a quiz" rule event.

Would anyone else like to see Rules integration with Quiz? Or know of a better way to accomplish this?
