Hi,
I am working for .NET based technology company and I am looking for a company as development partner in Cluj Napoca. Who could help us implementing Drupal based solutions for international customer.
We need expertise on high traffic/load sites with load balancing and optimization.
Drupal commons
DrupalCamp Kyiv 2011, June 3-4
DrupalCamp Kyiv 2011 will take place on June 3-4, 2010 in Kyiv, in an i-klass venue at Lavrskaya st., 16 (former Ivan Mazepa, 34). Our goal is to make this event a real festival for drupallers by adding a pinch of organization and preserving a friendly and informal atmosphere of previous conferences.
So, two days, four streams, six reports and presentations in each amount to about 50 free topics. In addition, this time we hope to make our schedule more hectic by pre-determining the reports. One of the streams will fully belong to English-speaking guests, and besides, we’ll have a special guest ;)
Just like last time, the main conference will be preceded with a series of paid trainings (presumably, one basic and one advanced) that will allow to better prepare for the main event.
But that's not all. This time there will be two special events – translators’ sprint and code-sprint, where everyone can make their contribution to Drupal.
Previous camp experience shows that a solid level of event’s organization requires substantial investments, that’s why this time we are forced to introduce fee for participating in the camp. We hope that a symbolic price of 100 UAH (about 12 USD for early registration) won’t stop you from attending such a rare event. You can pay for participation through the website, as well as on the day of the conference (but the price will be considerably higher).
And, of course, there is no way we can do it without our sponsors - this year we decided to make the possibility of sponsorship much more affordable for everyone by reducing the amount of contribution by almost 4 times! For the terms of sponsorship please visit the sponsor page.
Participants and sponsors are welcomed. To get more information please visit our website http://camp11.drupal.ua/.

Would anybody find this module userfull?
http://drupal.org/node/969660 It's written based on ip2locale module, and simply maps ip to country and then to currency code (usualy stored in a $_SESSION variable. Let me know if there would be interested in a module like this, and if it's worth pushing it to drupal.org/projects

Read moreSending personalized messages with Views Send
Simplenews is a great module and a lot of Drupal sites use it to send mass mailing to users or subscribers. However, IMO this module has some per-design limitations:
- The messages cannot be personalized based on the recipient data. You cannot insert formulas like "Dear [first-name] [last-name]" or "Your account balance is $[amount]".
- It doesn't accept other kind of data as recipient list. Subscriptions are basically stored as a list of E-mail addresses in a specific table. For example you cannot use nodes as recipient list.
- While subscribers list is a simple E-mail addresses list, you cannot perform advanced filtering on recipients data in order to target very fine subsets of subscribers.
