El podcast de Lullabot debería ser accesible a otros idiomas además del inglés!

Por eso me he lanzado en la campaña de transcribirlo, de tal forma que se pueda traducir a todas las lenguas posibles y hacerlo más accesible a la comunidad de Drupal no angloparlante.

Podemos ayudar de 3 formas principalmente:

• Donar unos dolarillos para que lo transcriba una compañía(el costo total es 40$USD aprox).
• Transcribir un pedazo de 5 minutos
• Pasar la voz de esta iniciativa

Our video channel (provided by Blip.tv) allows us to broadcast our videos in a feed for you, iTunes, Yahoo, and Adobe's Media Player. I've spent some time massaging these settings and we're now live on iTunes under the Podcast section. Subscribe or just feel free to download videos there.

The first videos that are listed are our May 2008 recordings of Scott Nelson covering the Services module and AMFPHP module (four parts).

In this comment I mentioned that I'd like to demo how to podcast (audio or video) using a new CCK/Views method for Drupal 6. You can check out a video podcast on this method now, if you're interested. I'm hoping lots of people find that this method of podcasting makes sense and start to go this route.

I haven't done this myself yet so I shant comment. In trying to figure out what sort of questions a church new to using drupal might ask, I happened on this one. "How do you do a sermon podcast?"

Perhaps those actually doing this could share their version of drupal, the modules they depend on and any other tip that might be appropriate in helping others complete this task. This will help us build up resources for others to get started. It might even be a good start towards the case studies we'd like to build up or be something we could start formatting into a wiki page.

I am currently working on a project for the Las Vegas Drupal Group and I'm in need of some suggestions for video embedding/podcasting modules. I'm curious what modules everyone that's doing vcasting with a Drupal-based site are using... like, is there anything out there module-wise that's like the CCK/Views of the video world?

I've been trying to setup a drupal based podcast site for a friend of mine's show for a while now.
I've recently figured out that the method of concatenation of the different segments doesn't produce a clean mp3.

Since I now have to adjust my scripts, I was wondering what the optimal encoding settings that the audio module (and the flash players ) prefer using lame.

I think I remember that I saw that the flash players can only handle 44khz mp3s? is that right?

Auf Initiative von Konstantin Käfer wurde vor einigen Tagen der erste Drupal-Podcast auf deutsch produziert!
Mit dabei waren neben Konstantin noch Gerhard Killesreiter, Hagen Graf und ich (Franz Heinzmann).

Wir haben über Drupal im Allgemeinen und Besonderen gesprochen, über die unterschiedlichen Anlaufstellen für Dokumentation und Hilfe, über neues in 5 und zu erwartendes in 6, über die Community und und und ...
War insgesamt sehr amüsant und hat mir jedenfalls viel Spaß gemacht (trotz einiger technischer Probleme - war immerhin das erste Mal).
