Where do the best theme designers hang out
Is there a forum / social site online where the best designers hang out?
I've tried sites like elance/pph but the quality of the candidates is disappointing to say the least. How do you tap into the talent pool of designers and developers that are producing the cutting edge startups that seem to spring every other hour?

I've been following Lewis' developments with the prototype and talked to some people about how to implement it and I think it's possible but to do it right will take a lot of work.
I would like to share my notes on this and make a suggestion to discuss pushstate-ajax (pjax) in Drupal, because as browser support is improving I think this will be the technology that allows websites (webapps) to catch up with native apps in terms of speed, responsiveness and scalability.

Search not working in HTML5 subtheme and layout issue
Hi, not sure if any one encounter something similar to my problem now.
Question 1: Search not working in Omega HTML5
I realise that using the Omega HTML5 sub theme, the search isn't working. I come to this conclusion when I switch to the basic Batik theme and the search is working, and even using the Omega XHTML sub theme the search works too.

What this is about:
We've been hearing a lot from the community about wanting more transparency with regard to the Drupal 8 initiatives and their advancement. Every two weeks, the Drupal 8 initiative owners, along with Dries, webchick, and a team of project managers have “scrum of scrum” calls where each person goes around and talks about what they worked on since last time, what they’re going to work on for next time, where they’re blocked, and how the community can help.
