CCK Taxonomy

Hello guys!!!

I need help/ideas. I have set up departments in a community site with taxonomy terms: Board of Directors, Traffic Department, Gardening.... And I have users that I refer to the terms to assign them to their departments.

Two problems:
1. Each member can be in multiple department.
2. Member can hold different Job at each department he is in.

I have a taxonomy with a structure like:

I want the user to be able to choose 3 subcategories from only one parent category, but they should be able to choose from which parent category.

Please forgive me for the long winded way in which I am about to present this to you. I only wish to explain in full detail the reason for this topic and question.

I have been developing a site for awhile now and I was recently attempting to use taxonomy filtering, for example "term/103,305" to create a combo search feature. However, for some reason when I attempt to combine the two term id's instead of it showing only results that are listed with both of the terms it's showing all of the results from both terms.

For example:

I am working on a website that ultimately will be available in several languages. It is also going to have a lot of complex CCK content types.

A lot of these fields will be CCK options fields, such as checkboxes, radio buttons and so on. Many of these fields will be usable for filtering and creating lists as well. Some of these options will be added to as the site grows.

What I have been thinking about is the best way to implement this to be flexible, efficient and at the same time make it easy to maintain and translations.

As I see it I have two options:

I've been having the problem all morning where I'm so close to creating my first view but it's just not there yet. Here's what I've done so far.

Muchos necesitamos “clasificar” nuestro contenido. La manera más obvia es a través de taxonomy (categorías). La otra es de crear dos (o más) tipos de contenidos (cck), uno que sería el contenido como tal (por ejemplos artículos) y el otro que sería el clasificador (por ej. secciones) y con ello podemos crear un modelo relacional.

¿Cual de las dos opciones es la más apropiada?

I am evaluating modules for linking CCK nodes with Taxonomy vocabularies. I want to assign terms to CCK nodes and I want to import Taxonomy terms with other data using Node Import. Examples and suggestions are welcome. If anyone has used the modules listed below, I would like to hear about your experiences. (good, bad or ugly)
