Varnish, Memcache y RAM de servidor

Saludos amigos

How many admins does it take to cause memory swaps?

I wanted to start a discussion on the impact of being logged in as "admin" and engaging in activities such as editing panels, creating views, and generally modifying a production site. It is easy to forget the memory demands this places on an operational server. Worse, I find myself often logged in from multiple Chrome windows while also logging in from Firefox and IE, all as admin.

Can someone help enlighten the group on the RAM impact of being logged in as admin in multiple Chrome browser windows, plus Firefox at the same time, all the while making significant site design changes?

VPS or Shared webhost

Hi all, I am fairly new to Drupal. I am re-designing/developing a website for a homeowners association using Drupal 7 that was originally built using tables. On a scale of 1-10 (1 being clueless and 10 being a Drupal guru), I would say I'm a 3. I don't know Php or Linux. I have some basic HTML and CSS skills.

O puedo optimizar, si requiero aumentar a cuanto?? ¿¿ 4GB, 6GB?

Improve Drupal Performance

I have a Drupal site with many modules enabled (CCK, views, rules, etc). The site will be used by several hundred people so I want fast page loads and the server to be able to withstand a large load. Everyone using the site is going to be a authenticated user so modules like Boost aren't going to help. The server's really good, dual-core and 6 gigs of RAM. I've installed APC, and it is awesome, but I have no idea how to put the rest of all this RAM to use.
