Overview

RestWS is a module which allows Drupal to expose it’s data as RESTful web services. This project aims to improve the module to a stable state, by fixing some bugs and adding new important features.

I've seen the discussion about the Mooha module (Syncing data with a Drupal website and a smartphone, http://groups.drupal.org/node/22253), however I was wondering if anyone here has some insight into being able to sync a user directory and calendar to a person's mobile phone. We have an organizational drupal site that has a user directory and a calendar. I would like users to have the ability to sync that data to their phone using their drupal account credentials.

Un saludo y gracias de antemano por el apoyo. Instalé mobile_tools y Browscap para generar una edición Mobil o Mobile para mi sitio web. El módulo es interesante porque te permite redireccionar a una template mobil instalada cada vez que ingresas de un dispositivo celular, tablet o smartphone. Bajé una simple template de Drupal, pero ahora mi problema es que las fotos se siguen redimensionando con el tamaño original de la edición web. Es decir, se reproducen en la template mobil como 610px de ancho, lo cual es un exceso para una edición web.

Another responsive Omega-based Drupal 7 mobile site from Forum One (www.forumone.com). This one uses JS Maps (www.drupal.org/project/jsmap) to make the SVG maps & data mobile friendly. Again, another solid example of Drupal on the mobile front.

The US Chamber just launched FreeEenterprise.com with a responsive theme on Drupal 7. It's a consolidation of three previous sites into a single magazine style web property, all mobile friendly. A great example of Drupal's mobile potential.

It was great to meet everyone who was at the meetup last night at Duke CE. As part of discussing possible ideas to motivate future lunch/evening meetings, we talked a little about the area of mobile technologies and integrating/synchronizing with Drupal. The company I work for is currently using Drupal 7 as a backend for a mobile fitness app for Android, and we'd love to get in touch with those in the community who are doing similar development, or are curious about how the technology works or its potential.

Although we've been relatively quiet in this forum, for the past months we have been working really hard to improve existing VoIP Drupal modules, bring new ones to life, and implement new systems on top of the platform. Now that the VoIP Drupal is more mature, we are shifting gears to promote the platform to a larger audience and take it to version 1.0. In order to do so, over the next couple of weeks we will be generating release candidates of the code, giving talks at different VoIP and Drupal venues, and inviting everyone to provide us with feedback on what needs to be improved.

In particular, in order to make VoIP Drupal 1.0 a tremendous success, we would like to:
* Address common issues in the current API
* Improve the existing documentation
* Highlight cases of the platform in use
* Resolve priorities identified by the community
* Spread the word about VoIP Drupal through all channels and means.

We will definitely need all the help we can get to accomplish the list above. If you are interested in being part of this movement, just let us know. Your active contribution will be very much appreciated!
