Saludos amigos, instalé Varnish en un sitio web con Drupal 7 y tengo algunas dudas y problemillas:

1- Además de Varnish el sitio tiene Memcached corriendo, mi duda es si se disminuye el rendimiento si desinstalo (Memcached). Leí que Memcached utiliza memoria del server y yo tengo sólo 2GB de RAM, entonces me vendría a bien un ahorro.

I would like to ask if with Drupal 8 you will be able to create HTML5 applications for the new OS like Firefox OS,Ubuntu mobile OS,Tizen etc.
It seems that the future of mobile applications are HTML5 web apps,so what is the role of Drupal 8 on this one?

In this case, the owners of WikiVillage.co.za were looking for jump into the mobile world, and decided to use our technology as the basis.

I've been following Lewis' developments with the prototype and talked to some people about how to implement it and I think it's possible but to do it right will take a lot of work.

I would like to share my notes on this and make a suggestion to discuss pushstate-ajax (pjax) in Drupal, because as browser support is improving I think this will be the technology that allows websites (webapps) to catch up with native apps in terms of speed, responsiveness and scalability.

Hola, he logrado crear una edición mobil o mobile para mi sitio web para ello utilicé Domain Access y una plantilla especial, además integré Adaptative Images. En conclusión tengo www.misitio.com para web y m,misitio.com con el mismo contenido desde la base de datos para smartphones. Lo único que me falta es que m.misitio.com se visualice cada vez que ingreso desde un smartphone, Iphone o cualquier otro equipo mobil. Espera la ayuda

Right now I just create a folder in /sites and put there settings.php with a mobile theme. It works. But how can I customize the modules/blocks?

Do I need to separate some DB tables for the modules and blocks?

Quiero agregar una edición mobil a mi sitio, pero tengo varias dudas. Lo que quiero es que el sitio disponible para smartphones se visualice como m.miweb.pe algo así como en esta web; http://m.peru21.pe/movil/

El módulo http://drupal.org/project/mobile_tools ofrece esa opción, pero es para Drupal 6 y la demo para Drupal 7 tiene varios módulos dependientes que exigen mucho al servidor.

Hay alguna forma de lograr eso?? ¿¿Se puede generar un minisitio con el mismo contenido en otra template o en un minicms Drupal??

Criei um módulo chamado iOSZoomFix que corrige o bug de zoom em iOS devices quando se muda a orientation para landscape.
Este bug só ocorre quando está a ser utilizada a meta tag <meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, initial-scale=1.0, user-scalable=yes"> e quando o valor de user-scalable é "yes". Se o valor do user-scalable for "no" então não precisam de utilizar este módulo porque o bug não vai acontecer.
