OSN Webpage
Hello Peeps,
I found a perfect sample of what the front page for OSN should look like.
Have a look and let's know what you think. We would need to a graphic artiste to do the design.

GPL icons for Drupal themes
The Acquia Marina theme uses icons in blocks, which presented an interesting challenge for contributing on drupal.org, since all files must be GPL licensed (PS. the PSD files for Marina are now available for download in our group). Creative Commons licenses don't cut it, which tends to be what icon designers go with when they decide to make free icons available.

I have just put together a Page for our newly forming young adults & professionals small group: http://firstbaptistchurchsh.com/node/28
This is not a "singles" group as is far too common because I don't believe that they are healthy.
This is an Intake/Welcome/Invite-a-Seeker-or-Drifter ministry which may lead to a larger culturally-relevant celebration service with spin-off groups.
That context stated I'd like to put a background or a watermark on the page to make it more interesting, either a picture of our own new Holy Grounds Coffeehouse or something generic.

One is for a button, and the other possibly for a shirt. If you've got the skillz, drop a note here or send me an email directly (through the contact tab) and we'll talk.

Adobe just released Photoshop Express - a free online photo hosting service and editor. It looks really promising; this app really impressed me. It has tons of little features but all presented very well and simple, in my opinion. The application was done in Flex and offers these features that anyone can use for free.
- Photo hosting (2GB)
- Load/Browse photos from Facebook, PhotoBucket, and Picasa (Google)
- Edit photos
- Preview edits in live mode and with scenario example previews
- Make 2D/3D slideshows (that rock!) and even share them (perfect for portfolios and photographers)
- Full-screen mode (awesome!)
- Share photos/galleries
- Rate photos
