Since BarCampOrlando is Saturday, April 18th (the day of our next schedule Florida Drupal meetup), how about we delay the meetup until Saturday, April 25th at 1PM?

I didn't want to just go ahead and make the call by myself, so please chime in and share your thoughts about this shift.

Hi All,

we'll be hosting a meeting of Drupaleros at our office at the top of Church St. in Burlington on the evening of April 16th at 5. Leave a comment if you'd like this time adjusted earlier or later in the day. Beer and pizza are both readily available! We can accommodate a dozen folks or so at our office and will have wireless and a projector available.

Possible discussion topics include the recently released contribute module (http://drupal.org/project/contribute), subversion and flash integration.

Hey Everyone,

I'm heading down to Sydney on the 2nd to 3rd of April for the SMX Sydney event on those days and I was wondering if any other Drupallers were attending. If so, would anyone be interested in catching up for dinner / drinks on Thursday (2nd) night?

I'll also be at the official SMX bbq on the Friday night, which would also be a good place to catch up.

For me, it was great to see everyone again, although I was disappointed that there weren't more than 3 new faces among the 15 or so that turned up. We do need to do something to attract more new members. I particularly enjoyed hearing about what new modules people have discovered, and enjoyed the less formal discussions afterwards. The discussion about the direction and future of the group was also very interesting and I think the issues spoken about need to be addressed, perhaps using drupal.co.za to better effect. On these lines, this post on tips and best practices for local Drupal groups is highly relevant. In particular, I think the group leadership needs to be shared between 3-4 people in order to grow and improve the group. Hi all just a heads up there are a few meetups that happen in northern NJ that are web technology related. An example of one such meetup is http://softwaredev.meetup.com/74/ . There are a larger and larger group of people that seem to be interested in Drupal in Northern NJ and I will discuss further this evening if we will start having Northern NJ Drupal meetups. I was initially going to start a North Jersey group here on G.D.O.
