Fivestar not displaying labels on form in Drupal 8

Are members of WDUG using the Fivestar module with Drupal 8? I have version 8.x-1.0-alpha2 installed on Drupal 8.9.3 and when I go to enter data into a content type with a Fivestar field there's no label displayed.

For an example see [content_entry_no_labels.jpg] at:

If you look at [fivestar_settings_for_graphics.jpg] note that it shows "text display: none"

Do you have any advice about a review/voucher site?

I'm trying to build a site like http://www.moneysupermarket.com/, a simple review and offer site with a lot of content. This site will have different content for different countries. However, some contents are common among all countries.

Is it a good idea to build it with Commons? do you know any installation profile for this? What is the best way of sharing content among sites?

Fivestar Help?

So I'm using the latest version of Fivestar for Drupal 5. When I click the star, I expect the (x votes) number to update, but it doesn't. Is this a feature that already exists? If not, how can I implement it? My JS-fu isn't so great but can't I do something like register a click handler that runs a parseInt on div.fivestar-summary span.total-votes span and then iterates a count +1? I've got a general idea how to do it but the specific implementation I'm not so sure.

Fivestar ratings *almost* working through views (NE GiveCamp wrap up)

We're trying to implement a Q&A side for our news site, and got through 95%-ish of it this weekend at GiveCamp following this tutorial, but I'm running into problems getting the fivestar to save the rating properly ... I think I've messed up the relationship somehow but I can't figure what gives.

The site is live on our dev, and everything looks perfect except that if you click one of the rating options, you get the following:

Sorting nodes based on votes and age

Hello,
It could be very basic question but I couldn't figure out how to do that.
I have bunch of nodes that has some kind of voting capability. I want to build a frontpage that sorted by following criteria. I want to calculate some kind of weight which is function of vote count and age of node. For example 2 days-old node with vote count 10 should has higher weight than 3 days-old node with vode count 10. You can read about detailed algorithm from this link. http://code.google.com/intl/tr-TR/appengine/articles/overheard.html

Voting and Views

Is there a module or recipe to expose votes to Views so to you can make a list of content and possibly sort it by the number of votes or the average or similar? Ideally, something that ties into Voting API or better still, Fivestar.

Georgia Podcast Network redesign is live!

We have finally gone live with our redesign of the Georgia Podcast Network! For a rundown of what's new from an end user standpoint, check out our announcement blog post.

GAPN is based on Drupal 5.7, and makes heavy use of the following modules: CCK, Views, Workflow-ng, FeedAPI, ImageCache, Usernode, Bio, Fivestar, and Voting API. That's not a full list, but the site leans on those the most.

Additionally, we built a custom theme and wrote several custom modules to get things working just the way we wanted them to. In writing these modules, we built custom Drupal integration for getID3, SWFUpload, and the JW Media Player.

Hope you like the site! I'll be happy to answer any "how did you do that?" questions if you have them.
