Porting webcomic module

Hi all,

I am not sure how much time Eaton is able to put into this.

I am not even sure how I can contribute back the code back to the community after/during the porting changes (not even sure, if I am capable).

But as a strat, I have started a Webcomic Module 4.7 to 5 Porting Wiki Page to track this.

Any comments/suggestions are welcome.

What modules are you using to create your photographic gallery?

Hi guys,

I have been looking through the list of modules many times over, I have found so many modules that can do media, gallery, image ... it is really puzzling.

I read the documentation for most of them, look at examples, read posts ... still I am not close to make a clear and informed decision.

So I am very curious to know what you are using for your photo gallery?

Cheers,
Marc.

Make iframe resizable (like textarea) with JQuery

Hi,

I wonder how hard it would be to make an iframe resizable, much like textareas are resizable in Drupal (with the textarea.js).
The reason i ask this, is because i have created a module to integrate the "Whizzywig" WYSIWYG editor into Drupal (see http://drupal.org/project/whizzywig).
This editor replaces the textarea with an iframe to allow WYSIWYG editing.

Phpfreechat update

Hi,

IO1 recently retained Stéphane Gully (creator of phpfreechat) to update the current phpfreechat module. Phpfreechat version 1 will be released very soon probably pre drupalcon. To go with this Stéphane has already sent the patchs to update the phpfreechat module to the maintainer for review and hopefully we will be able to get this submitted asap.

I know this is not as good as a full blown chat module but it was the quickest way we could see to get a decent chat up and running, anyway just thought I would let you know as early as possible.

Extend Case tracker module - deadline status

Well today was the supposed deadline for the Google Summer of code project. I have uploaded what I have done at the moment for the supposed deadline to the CVS. You can visit my site and play around with it some, although there are a few bugs that still need to be worked out on it and a few features I will be adding that I didn't get to by the deadline today.

Extend Case Tracker Module - Week 5 Status.

Last week was spent giving much overview of the code, as well as starting to play around with the layout and design of the forms. I spent a lot of time catching up on some of the drupal dojos. Diving into the nodeAPI as well as forms API. and spending much time on api.drupal.org to figure out what the current functions in the current case tracker module are doing. I spent some time learning some of the jQuery syntax as well as AJAX ( I am new to programming w/ AJAX). I also spent time learning CVS for drupal.

Live Translation

Guys,

Im developing a module called Live Translation. Its divided in three submodules:

  • Live Translation: all end users will update all strings automatically. no more po/pot files.
  • LT Extractor: similar to POTX > extract all translatable strings from all projects that your site hosts. It also provides a dynamic XML with updates, so users can download it.
  • LT WebTranslation: provides a online interface to all users translate all strings. It uses OG to manage who can translate, sho can create a suggestion and who cannot help.

New Multisite Module

I haven't tested this yet, but wanted to alert everyone of a new multisite related module. I just picked it up in my news reader from the Drupal new modules feed.

Check it out at: http://drupal.org/project/multisite_manager

Thanks,
Shrop
