Maestro: Advanced Workflow Module Proposal

Maestro is a workflow module for Drupal which is in development by Nextide. We have created a design spec for this application, which we would like to share with the Drupal community for feedback. Maestro will be based on an existing workflow application Nextide has developed on another OS platform. Rather than a simply porting over the application, we would like to take the right steps to ensure it is properly integrated into Drupal.

For a quick 2 minute introduction of what Maestro is, check out our video

Preliminary questionnaire for clients who didn't define what they want

I've made a webform usefull as first step with clients who are not coming with a project clearly defined for you and/or form themselves.

Am I the only one who is seeing that so often ?

So here is a questionnaire and I've exported the webform so you can use it as a base for your own.

You should use the node_export module to re-import seamlessly the form.

Reviving the Business Directory Group

I've followed this group for awhile, because I have created a lot of business directories outside of Drupal, and have wondered if it could be done easier and quicker within Drupal and it's vast amount of contrib modules. Well, I think it can, now that I do 90% of website development work in Drupal.

E-Commerce solution for small property website

Hi there,

I am looking for a (or the) simple (simpler) solution to implement a basic E-commerce facility in my little property website see http://www.Mega-Quick-Sale.co.uk

The idea is simple, I will receive leads from people who want to sell their property quickly and I will try to resell these leads to property investors (note I don't buy or sell properties just leads). I am considering using auctions to sell the leads to the highest bidders.

As Drupal and Drupal Shops Grow, Are NPOs Benefiting?

I am posting to ask two questions regarding nonprofits, consultants and Drupal
shops, and the general direction Drupal is headed.  In short, I'd like to
hear your thoughts on whether Drupal is heading in a direction that benefits
nonprofits or leaves many behind. I feel that I need a disclaimer: I'm asking
these questions because I don't know the answer and think some of you will have
great feedback that helps answer the questions, and more importantly improve
Drupal and its community.

  1. Is Drupal development getting too expensive, and as a result, pricing many
smaller (Drupal entry level) NPOs out?
  2. Is the professionalization of Drupal -- more modules and themes being
developed by Drupal shops for paid jobs -- causing more modules, themes and
improvements to get back to the community and Drupal.org?  Or, are more
and more improvements becoming for clients only?
