How to display preface to anonymous?

Hi,
I created three new menus and added to the three regions of preface (first, middle and last). If I logout these are not visible anymore. How can I make it visible to the anonymous visitor of my website? Same question about the Primary links.

Thanks,
Adrian

credit links are too hard to remove

as far as I know, it's legal to remove the credit link at the bottom of the theme, and instructions for hacking the theme to do so are included on the handbook page (http://drupal.org/node/357261#credit-links).

jwolf suggested I post here instead of the issue queue for marina. The current solutions are:

  1. hack the theme
  2. use a subtheme, and rely on a very brittle string replacement
  3. use a display:none and say that's good enough

Delete slash between site name and slogan

Can anyone tell me how to delete the vertical slash between the site name and the slogan in the acquia slate theme? I'm not using a slogan, so it looks odd to have that slash at the end of the site name.

Thanks!

Asking for a little help please

I am using the slate theme and have a question regarding background color. I am creating a store with ubercart and when you view the category page the background color is white. At the product level display is as it should be.

I messed with every instance of #fff in the css code without any luck.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Jerry

Mirror image of 2 columns

Hi there,

is there an easy way to modify the Acquia Marina theme so 2 column layouts with Content-Main & Sidebar-Last appear not as it does at the moment with a 50/50 split without borders on the blocks. But appears exactly like a 2 column layout with Sidebar-First & Content-Main? Am attaching a screen to illustrate request.

Thank you in advance,

ConorC

Delete mission from front page?

Is there a way to delete the mission from the front page of an acquia slate site? I want the image to show, but not the mission on top of it. If I simply leave the mission blank, the image won't show up.

Thanks,
Leah

Background of inactive Primary Menu Tabs

I have been working on trying to customise the acquia marina theme. I am trying to change the background colour of the primary menu. I have managed to do this successfully but the grey menu tabs still have white at the corners. I removed this for the active tab by changing the image file. I believe the other tabs achieve this via CSS but I cannot find, despite much trial and error, where to make this change.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks
Duncan

Acquia Marina and Views Rotator

I created a simple Views Rotator (http://drupal.org/project/views_rotator) view but it will not show up in my Acquia Marina theme in most browsers. I have created some custom regions on the front page but the remainder of the site uses the basic regions. The site (a dev site) is at http://dev.detroitcristorey.org . The images/views rotator should display in the large content space in the center of the site; however, this does work in IE7 and IE6. I tried it in Garland and it would appear; I have (seemingly) narrowed it down to a CSS problem in Acquia Marina.

Any help would be appreciated.

Main page photo

The Acquia slate theme is wonderful. Very powerful and sharp looking, and created with flexibility in mind.

I want to add the GPL photo to this theme. How can I do this? (Currently, there is no photo displaying with this theme.)

How to display navigation and image banner only on front page?

Using the default slate theme. I have the image and navigation block on the left side of the image such as the default screen shot of slate. But underneath there is content. I don't want any created content (page or story etc..) to display on the front page.
What would I need to do to make sure no content displays there? Right now it displays the routine "Welcome to your drupal website" info. I'm not sure how to make that gone.
Thank you for your help

Extremely Odd CSS Issue... Help...

I've been working on customizing Pump Up The Volume Theme and I've got an Issue...

What I did was adjust how the Primary Links work and made them have their own Image Backgrounds as tabs. I got it all working beautifully on my Dev site. However, when I loaded the new theme to my live site and changed over, the Tabs Print way off to the right of the screen and the CSS background image prints itself on top of the actual tab image.

My Dev site - www.nlighttest.com/myforeskin.org (Check to see what it's actually supposed to look like)

Separate content and sidebar-last

Today acquia marina layout looks something like this:

Picture: http://groups.drupal.org/files/acquia_marina_layout_v1.JPG

And because sidebar-last is not clearly separated from content, some very important things go below sidebar-last.

Picture: http://groups.drupal.org/files/acquia_marina_problem_x.JPG

Many people has this problem and no one knows how to solve it. i.e. how to separate content from sidebar-last. Doing it would be great, if you need to have two sidebars: in a left to show advertisements, menus, views and other important blocks.

Purple/Pink Mod of the Acquia Slate Theme

Heya,

First of all I'd like to thank stephthegeek and TopNotchThemes for a great theme indeed. In my opinion it is the best free theme currently available for Drupal.

Secondly, I'd like to share the site I created using the Acquia Slate theme. I have a home-based business that specializes in health and wellness products. We recently came out with a new anti-inflammation drink called Nopalea which I decided to make this website for. The main ingredient in this drink comes from the fruit of the Nopal cactus which is deep purple/pink in colour due to the betalains (natural antioxidants) it contains. The bottle of Nopalea also has a deep purple/pink colour, so I figured what better colour to choose for my Acquia Slate theme than...you guessed it...a deep purple/pink colour. Well, after randomly trying a few colours out, I came up with the current colour which even impressed me as to how well it looked. With that said, here is my site:

Feel free to make any comments or suggestions that you might have.

God bless,

-Meshezabeel
