Welcome to VANDUG!

The Vancouver Drupal Users Group (VanDUG) is the local meeting place for Greater Vancouver people interested in Drupal. We were formerly known as the Vancouver League of Drupalers, but that's a long story.

The group mostly hangs out on Slack at https://vandug.slack.com/. We also post our meetings on Meetup.com at https://www.meetup.com/Vancouver-Drupal-Users-Group. All are welcome, it's listed as a private group to keep out the griefers.

We've been holding semi-regular virtual meetings during COVID-19.

chx will talk about some of the upcoming Form API changes for 4.8/5.0
Steven will talk jQuery, also destined for core in 4.8/5.0
walkah will talk about pants

Feel free to BYOB or snacks. We'll have a few things on hand.

So, enough people have emailed me directly to ask when the next meeting is....to probably think about planning the next meeting :P

Next Thursday sounds like a good date. Any objections?

Colin presented on the category module. I showed off support.activestate.com in Jeff G of ActiveState's absence (he was sick) and we talked alot about CCK and Views (I showed how we used it on Cosmic Cubes.com and Colin showed his postal code matcher).

I ran into Roland today at Take 5... the meeting is confirmed for Friday, July 20th at 6pm at the Bryght office again -- Suite 203 - 525 Seymour St.

Boris will be absent so bring lots of topics with you... my category module demo will probably be short and sweet =)
