First I wanted to thank everyone for coming and special thanks to Mike on the theming presentation you gave. We had 9 people show to our 2nd meeting. Here are the notes I took:
Using Domain Module vs Multisite
Domain Module - http://drupal.org/project/domain
Themes Discussed
Blueprint - http://drupal.org/project/blueprint

Fusion - http://drupal.org/project/fusion
Zen - http://drupal.org/project/zen
Theme Modules
BlockTheme - http://drupal.org/project/blocktheme
BlockTheme allows an admin to define tpl files for standard block templates and provides a select box on the block configure form so the user can select a tpl file to use as opposed to having to override the templates by block ID.
Skinr - http://drupal.org/project/skinr
Skinr's main purpose is to allow the theme to define a set of reusable and modular CSS styles, and to make those styles available in Drupal's UI.

Is anybody interested in volunteering an hour or two of their time to make the Florida DrupalCamp 2010 web site available for other Drupal user groups to clone?
Salim Lakhani from WebEnabled asked me if they could host an empty version of the site for anyone to clone for their own use. In order to do so, someone would have to do the legwork:
- checkout the site's code and obtain a current DB backup
- get the site up-and-running on their local machine
Finishing up the Junior Achievement site for Coding for a Cause
If anyone is interested in helping out finishing up the Junior Achievement site that was started during Florida DrupalCamp 2010, please either leave a comment below or contact me directly.
We only have a few tasks left, mainly involving theming.
We're hoping to finish up the site this week, with any final touches getting taken care of during next Saturday's Central Florida Drupal meetup.
Thanks,
-mike

Hey everybody,
I'd like to get some feedback about what we learned about organizing Florida DrupalCamp 2010. Rather than scheduling a conference call (you're welcome), I'm hoping we can get some valuable feedback here.
I'll get us started by saying that we definitely learned that having CFCS as our 501(c)3 sponsor organization made a HUGE difference in how we were able to handle the finances for the event. I don't think we could have pulled off such a big event without their help.

Dare I dream?
After the surprising turnout of Brevard-based Drupalers at Florida DrupalCamp 2010, I'd like to see if we can get a monthly Drupal meetup going in Brevard.
How about we do something during the 2nd week of each month? I'm thinking Thursday nights in Cocoa Village.
Let me know if you're interested and if that day/time/location works for you.
Thanks,
-mike
O'Reilly User Group Program
Hey everybody,
We've just been accepted into the O'Reilly User Group Program. This means that as a group, we can get free review copies of O'Reilly books as long as they are used to the benefit of the group.
As the contact for the program, I can request virtually any O'Reilly book for any member - I think that in the spirit of the program, any book we request should be shared with the rest of the group (by the recipient of the book) in the following ways:
- The recipient should post a review of the book on groups.drupal.org/florida.

Greetings everybody,
The last (and possibly most important) planning conference call from Florida DrupalCamp 2010 will be held tonight at a special time - 8:30pm.
From 8:30-9pm, Damien will be leading the discussion and the topic will be the beginner sessions. If you're presenting a beginner session, then you need to be in on this call (Joe, Marc, Ryan, Charles, Doug, Don, Gaelan, Damien, and myself).
Our "normal" rundown planning call will start at 9pm - everybody who volunteered to help should do everything they can to make this call.

Is there anyone out there who would be willing to step up and be an "official" photographer for Florida DrupalCamp? Ideally, it would be someone (or multiple someones) who already isn't signed up to do anything during the camp. It would be great to have a bunch of photos from the camp posted somewhere that everyone has access to.
Post a comment below if you'd be willing to help out.

With Florida DrupalCamp less than 3 weeks away, I thought now would be a good time to give everyone a quick synopsis of what's going to be going on at the camp.
Registration has been open for over a month and so far, we have a little over 100 people signed up for the camp. The cost to register is $6.11, but if you're a student or work for a non-profit, we'll waive the fee. We have a hard-cap on attendance of 150, so be sure to register before it is too late.
