Brevard Drupal meetups scheduling
Hey fellow Brevardians (Space Coasters? Brevarderos?),
As we discussed at the meetup last Thursday evening, let's go ahead and plan out the next 4-6 presentations so we can encourage more people to participate. Seeing how we normally do two presentations per meetup, let's just try to get one scheduled for now, and leave the second slot open in case anything comes up.
I've listed a bunch of potential topics below that can get the discussion started, but please don't limit it to what I've included. If you'd like to make a presentation, just ask and we'll get it scheduled!

Hey everybody,
Erik Bladwin (yes, that's the proper spelling as far as I'm concerned) and I recently took part in a DrupalCon Portland session entitled <a href="https://portland2013.drupal.org/session/making-drupal-meetups-and-events-rock>Making Drupal Meetups and Events Rock. As part of our preparation we, along with the other panelists, set up an online survey about Drupal meetups. One of the more surprising datapoints that came out of it was over 50% of the 161 respondents indicated that meetup.com was how people learned about their meetups. Perhaps we're missing an opportunity to grow the Florida community even more.
I know that in Brevard County, we're not using meetup.com. I'm not sure about the other local meetups around the state, but I think it's time that we make sure that we're all reaching as many Florida Drupaleros as possible.

Read moreDrupal 7 site looks strange ith IE9
A site running Drupal 7, www.promodeler.com has users running IE9 reporting a problem where the screen doesn't 'right'. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to always happen. The attached file file shows the text-like appearance they're complaining about. Fortunately, selecting F12 and enabling compatibility mode resolves it, but users quite rightly complain they shouldn't have to do this to use the site. Anyway, while users of Firefox, and other browsers, have never reported the issue, I'm not going to get involved in the politics of browser selection. Any ideas?

We worked on Views details and transfered over to installing Drupal 8. It was a lot of fun.
We will be creating a new website with Drupal 8. This will be a small but working website using Drupal 8. Our last meeting we downloaded Drupal 8 and had a problem was the ISP not supporting PHP 5.3.x. Make sure your server can handle PHP 5.3.x when loading up Drupal 8. We will see what else happens after you get Drupal 8 Installed this Saturday
