I am initiating conversation on logistics plan for Drupal Camp Deccan Inviting folks from Hyderabad, Chennai, Bangalore and Kerala to join me at IRC #drupal-in between 6 and 7 pm today.I am sharing a list of initial pointers I could come up with.

An Excellent effort by Drupal Hyderabad to take DrupalCampDeccan to the next level by meeting different stakeholders in Drupal and understand their requirements. Drupal Camp Deccan - Drupal, Dries & Dum Biryani :)
Hello Folk,
An update on efforts from the Drupal Hyderabad group. November 11th being the scheduled date of Dries Buytaert’s visit to Hyderabad, the Hyderabad Drupal community folk are planning a Drupal Camp to bring together all Drupal folk in the southern region to Hyderabad on that day. Having said so, the event is open for everyone across the country. There are similar events being planned in Mumbai and Delhi. So, you can attend the one closer to you.

My site is similar to istock images where user can upload images and buyer can purchase it. But I dont want to keep the uploaded images in my drupal running server as it will affect the speed in future.
Currently all my uploads are going to MY SERVER 1 /MY_DRUPAL/sites/default/files. But what I want is to save my uploads to MY SERVER 2 /MY_FOLDER. And also I am using uc_file_download to download the purchased file. I want to give this external server path (SERVER 2 /MY_FOLDER) in uc_file_download setting.
How can I connect another server ?

Dries Visit to Drupal Camp Deccan at Hyderabad
Hello Drupallers,
Some of you might already be aware, Dries is visiting Hyderabad on Nov 11th. We are in touch with Acquia and are planning to organize a major two day Drupal Camp Deccan for all of South India.
All folks from Chennai, Bangalore, Pune, Cochin are welcome to make good use of this event. We will have Dries to address the crowd in person and deliver the keynote address.

Is the South Asian community ready to take on a DrupalCon, perhaps as soon as January 2013?
If so, now would be the perfect time to start discussing it. It would be great to open this discussion before DrupalCon Chicago, next month. Of course, if you are going to Chicago, we can have a very informal meeting there.
To be clear, there has been no discussion, let alone a decision of any kind by the Drupal Association. This is strictly a fact-finding mission by me to gauge the level of interest in your communities.
