Representing Asia at Drupal Association At-large Board Elections
A few weeks back Drupal Association announced the Elections for it’s Director-At-Large position. The At-large Director position is specifically designed to ensure community representation on the Drupal Association board. I strongly feel there should be a representation from Asia. Drupal Asian communities have seen tremendous growth in recent years, be it adopting Drupal by Enterprises, conducting successful Drupal Camps, Organizing Training Days, Conducting Code Sprints or taking initiatives to make Drupal community flourish.

Drupal/CMS/Open Source Meetup in Amman
Drupal-jo.org is a developing resource to grow Jordan's Drupal Community. Group environment is very open – we discuss ideas, debug problems, and brainstorm current personal or client Drupal projects. ShooFeeTV & Jeeran Initiative
ShooFeeTV and Jeeran are working to in a private/public initiative, sector in association with the MOICT and INTAJ, to increase Drupal potential in Jordan and the region.
We will be holding a number of one-week training sessions in Drupal development during October 2009 in Amman-Jordan.
The sessions will be given Jacob Redding from the Drupal Association, who will be coming to Amman for that reason.
