It's been a while since we all got together here in Miami for a Drupal meetup. In the past we've met at the old Miami Herald building and Miami Beach. I'm working now to get a space in the University of Miami Life Science and Technology Park. If anyone knows about a another good centralized location we could utilized feel free to post in the comments.
Thanks

Florida Drupal Meetups - financial support
Hey everybody,
Coming off yet another successful DrupalCamp Florida (thank you, volunteers!), a few of us were talking about how we can best reinvest some of the leftover funds we have from the camp back intp the community.
Perhaps the most important thing we can do is help grow and strengthen the Florida Drupal community.
With this in mind, we're happy to (re-)announce that if you are a Florida Drupal meetup organizer, you can request reimbursement for expenses to help grow and strengthen your local community.
We're willing to pay for things like:

Agency Partnerships/Connections
I just relocated to the Miami area and would love to connect with other agencies and developers specializing in Drupal. My agency has been partnering with other agencies for quite a few years now and we almost prefer that model to the typical client model.
I'm still trying to get a feel for how prevalent Drupal is in the Miami/South Florida area. It seems that Wordpress is the dominating CMS around here, simply because that is normally the choice for hospitality related businesses.

New in Florida
Hello Florida's Drupalers, I recently moved in to Miami and I'm wondering if you had any meetup near or other community event to meet you guys.
Even when I'm using and developing with Drupal for more than 5 years, in Havana (where I came from) the drupalers aren't organized so I'm looking for a little of knowledge about on how to integrate to your community now that I'm here. I guess the first step should be become a Drupal Association member so I already did it. Now if there is anything else you can recommend me to do just let me know, I'll appreciate any help about. Thanks in advance.

Here's a quick summary of where we'd love some additional help:
