Hi all,
I haven't checked on this group in quite some time and was surprised to see 15 users and a potential meet-up being discussed. Seems like I may have missed the boat on that one. But, I did just discover the "Group Notifications" block over here to the right, which makes it easy to sign up for email notifications of new content posted here. Just wanted to share that discovery with y'all in case anyone else has trouble remembering to check back here regularly...

Email notification is an EXCELLENT suggestion!
Yes, the Austin group is in fact the only group I have currently set up to receive email notifications and it's quite handy. I'm sure some folks have just been busy and didn't check the online postings... Why bother checking the Austin group when one can let technology provide convenient email notifications? Of course, if I start receiving dozens of emails each day... ;)
Thanks datura for the suggestion, and I look forward to an Austin Meetup in the near future. Perhaps we can shoot for a Meetup in mid to late September?

Sept. Meetup
Hi Walt,
Just returned from a business tip and found the emails about a Meetup.
I would be interested in makeing a trip to Austin in Sept. and meeting the Drupal users there.
I'll keep watching and listening to see how things work out.
