There's a possibility I may be at the upcoming NECC conference and I was wondering if there was anyone else attending? This might be a good venue to promote Drupal -- I'm looking at you billfitzgerald ;-)
Anyone else going? Possible bird of feather meet-up or something grander?

I will be at NECC as well running the Open Source lab with Steve Hargadon. It would be great to talk Drupal with others that are using it in education.

I was there last year
This year, however, I'm probably not going to be going -- Last year, there were some sessions on Drupal -- I ran a full-day training on customizing Drupal, and there were some shorter sessions that covered Drupal as well. Additionally, one of our clients showcased a site we worked on.
It is definitely a great venue for showcasing Drupal -- many people within education want what Drupal can do, but they don't actually know what Drupal can do -- some evangelizing is definitely in order.
The other factor affecting my attendance this year (that has nothing to do with Drupal, or education): the conference is inconveniently scheduled in conflict with my birthday :) And for some reason, my family actually wants me around. Crazy people.
