We have created a simple event management system with Drupal 7.x to help Student & Academic Community in India ( Initially) to create, configure, share & manage their own events easily. Attendees have an easy 1 - Click Registration process and an e-ticket is ready for them.

I look for valuable feedback on the system we have created.

Also, if anyone is looking for such system we could develop and deliver according to their requirement with high quality and cost effective Solution.

I just submitted a session proposal for 'Drupal for Education' session for Drupalcon Paris: http://paris2009.drupalcon.org/session/drupal-education. Any suggestions on what should be included are welcome.

At the moment Robert Castelo and I will be putting it together. Anybody interested in collaborating please get in touch.

I just submitted a session/BoF/panel proposal for DrupalCon in Szeged suggesting ways of helping Drupal make greater inroads in the education sector (including research): http://szeged2008.drupalcon.org/sessions/what-does-education-sector-need.... Any feedback is appreciated.

I thought I'd start a thread where we could discuss what else the Drupal in Education/Drupal in Academia and Research crowd can do in Szeged. Please post comments with suggestions/ideas for other sessions, BoFs, or just let each other know who's coming.

There's a possibility I may be at the upcoming NECC conference and I was wondering if there was anyone else attending? This might be a good venue to promote Drupal -- I'm looking at you billfitzgerald ;-)

Anyone else going? Possible bird of feather meet-up or something grander?
