Hej!
Jag ska försöka skapa något som liknar användarprofiler i drupal 7. Via panel och annat ska designen lösas, men jag fattar inte hur jag knyter till användarna de olika fälten. Forut var det profile-modulen som användes. Den ska så vitt jag förstått finnas kvar, men vara avstängd som standard och man rekommenderas använda Fields API istället. Vad innebär detta? Hur ska jag göra?

Under stucture, create a profile type. You have to create fileds as this is now a CCK construct. Once you have done this it should be available in the users account link under edit then Profile (or the name you gave the Profile Type).
My take on this (as I predictied oh so long ago) is that this is the same type of thing that makes Ez-Publish such a pain in the ass. While you gain flexibility you lose out of the box user friendliness. Hopefully there will be some modules,macros and profiles that will do the initial set up as Drupal 7 comes into the light.

Som Carl säger här ovanför så kan man lägga till fält direkt på användare (utan att knyta ihop dem med en content profile).
Du hittar inställningarna under /admin/config/people/accounts/fields på något som heter Account settings. Där kan du lägga till fält och arrangera dem.
