I know that the schedule closes on the 10th, so I wanted to point out that I am willing to teach a couple of sessions.
I am especially interested in the requested 'Intro to Drupal'. Most of the sessions that have already been accepted are a bit tech-heavy and I would love to offer something simpler early in the day.

However, I was thinking of something even simpler.
When I went to the Yale Drupal Camp, there were a lot of people there who had almost no technical experience. Even the session you were describing would have overwhelmed them.
I am proposing something like: 'Explaining Drupal to your boss. What is it, and why should we use it?'. In this session, I would:
If a session like this was provided first thing in the morning, it would give people who were completely new a chance to understand more of what they saw later in the day.
