I am in need of a systems administrator to partner with to deploy my completed drupal sites. I posted this as a discussion instead of a job as it's more or less on a per-site basis, and I wouldn't mind having multiple partners to work with in case one was busy. In addition the sites I deploy are typically very high-end and overly complicated (ie enterprise level server clusters etc).
Basically, when I build a site for a client, the last bit is the site deployment. However, each client has a different environment with different challenges to overcome. I need someone to work with that can take a completed drupal site and deploy it on a clients server, redirect the new urls, handle tweaking the zone files, fiddle with any apache problems, and just make it work. I'd love it if I can say "Here's the site, here's the server, here's the URL, go for it" and just leave it at that. As it stands I'm doing the deploys myself, but I'm sure there's someone out there that can do them in 1/2 the time it takes me.
If you, or anyone you know, can handle something like this, please comment in this thread or email me. Or maybe you know something about drupal deployments I don't and there's a scripting pack I can download that will make it all too easy. Either way I'd love to hear from you.
