Open Atrium

Hi have work tracker and due dates active on a test site for Open Atrium. All ok except when I want to assign a task to a user in the assign to field. The user is missing? He is a member of the space and group. Where else do I need to go to make sure we can select the user?

Is there an easy way to disable the display of the space and section title? Since the space and section are already displayed in the menu, the user will know where they are.

I have setup a little test site for OA. I have one space with a tasks section and a discussion. I want auth users to be able to reply to tasks set by admin or editor but not create their own. I do also want them to be able to comment on tasks. I have tried to use permissions but despite everything I untick for auth users they can still do anything on the tasks page. Can anyone tell me whats wrong on this basic test?

Ok....trying to extend tasks in Atrium.

I added Actual Start date field in CCK
now i want to calculate the number of days between Actual Start and Due Date

I am using Computed COlumns

first i need to calculate the julian number... then ill subtract the two numbers to get the length in days. Then do the same from Actual Start to Now.
To calculate a JuliantoJD result in the interface for this is:

$test3 = getdate($entity->field_due_date[LANGUAGE_NONE][0]['value']);
$jd3=juliantojd($test3['mon'],$test3['mday'],$test3['year']);
entity_field[0]['value'] = $jd3;

I would like to see how open atrium 2 has been used for project management. With open atrium 1, one could have multiple projects, each with multiple tasks. I don't see how open atrium 2 accomplishes this? I can't create a section for each project. Any thoughts or solutions?

The default display for recent activity shows a particular task title multiple times for each task created and for each comment. I cannot get this view to display only the task parent without all the comments. I realize one would want to see each comment listed separately in this view but, I also need to be able to list only the parent in one of the panels for general task management and I did not find any views showing only the initial task.

I am trying to use Open Atrium for development project issue tracking. I am seriously struggling with some functionality. E.g. I am trying to find how to enable auto-numbering for tasks (which I use as tickets). Is there a way to do so? Also, I would really love to add additional fields to Work Tracker tasks - I need version and milestone fields. Is there a way to add those without programming? Would really appreciate your input!

Very cool feature to be able to clone a section for use in Spaces. I want something like a task but different in scope so I cloned task to "request" which shows up in the Admin section under OA Section Templates.

But when I access the main menu to and select a Space the options for "Create New Section" does not include the new cloned section.

Any thoughts?

Apologies if this has been raised in the wrong section but I have been struggling to find some help in OA.

I have a test site running fine. However when I create a tasks section in a space I dont seem to be able to assign the tasks to anyone? Is there something fundamental I am misssing here?
