The At-large Director position is specifically designed to ensure community representation on the Drupal Association board. I strongly feel there should be a representation from India. Drupal Indian communities have seen tremendous growth in recent years, be it adopting Drupal by Enterprises, conducting successful Drupal Camps, Organizing Training Days, Conducting Code Sprints or taking initiatives to make Drupal Indian community flourish. Hello Drupalers,
Our regional communities across the country have organised a number of successful Code Sprints(kudos to everyone involved!) and the contributions coming out of these Sprints are truly commendable. The idea of having the whole of Indian Drupal Community come together for a Global Code Sprint (once every month) sounds "Really" interesting to me.
We can come up with a Yearly calendar and dedicate one weekend every month wehrein all the regional communities participate together and contribute!

GNUnify - Pune
GNUnify is an annual gathering consisting of Free and Open Source software workshops, and seminars, hosted by Symbiosis Institute of Computer Studies and Research, Pune and Pune Linux Users Group.
The event attracts students from various colleges across India, and is sponsored by big names in open source community, like - Mozilla, Wikimedia, etc.
The event has a dedicated Drupal track where Drupalers from Pune give presentations, conduct workshops for students.

To kickstart the year - we now have a Core Committee that have the following four heads -
1. Code Sprints
2. Trainings - college
3. Corporate Affairs and Corporate Trainings
4. Communication
Pleased to announce the Drupalers who have taken the initiative for doing kickass work throughout the year!!

We are planning to revamp our existing community website to bring it to current trends and portray the heart and soul of every Bangalorean and Drupaler. This is a website of the community, by the community and for the community; and it can't be done without you.
At the moment, our most pressing need is to find someone to help us design the logo, wordmark and also implement a design. If you can build a HTML/CSS version or a Drupal theme, that is even better.
