This is a local user group for sharing knowledge about Drupal and networking with other folks in the greater Seattle web/tech community.
SeaDUG meets monthly to talk about Drupal, to plan related events, and to socialize. During SeaDUG meetings we showcase modules and projects, share tips and tricks, and answer nagging questions about Drupal.
We welcome participants from all skill levels and all disciplines related to website building and development - marketers, project managers, developers, designers, writers, devops, user researchers, QA, and more.
Stay in Touch
- Join the SeaDUG Slack workspace to chat regularly with other SeaDUG community members.
- Follow us on LinkedIn for more frequent news and Drupal-related content sharing.
Jobs
PLEASE do not post job offers in this group unless they are local to Seattle, or remote and open to people who live in Seattle. Any job posted to this group that is not in the Seattle/Puget Sound Metropolitan Area or open to its residents will be promptly removed.

Seattle GiveCamp needs tech volunteers
Hi Everyone,
Seattle GiveCamp is coming up the first weekend of October and they are still in need of some tech volunteers. It's a great event where volunteers help non-profits complete a project over a weekend. Last year I helped out with a Drupal project and was amazed at what people accomplished so I decided to do it again.
I don't see any Drupal projects this year but they could really use people with Wordpress and mobile experience.

There seems to be enough interest in a regular meeting in the vicinity of Bellevue to warrant discussion. It's been proposed that this be in addition to the regular third-Thursday meeting in Seattle.
Let's discuss dates, locations, and who would like to organize the event.

Join us for Devsigner (designers + developers) Conference in Portland this May
The first ever Devsigner Conference is happening in Portland May 23-25, and we'd love to see you there!
Devsigner is a brand new event that will bring together frontend developers and technology-oriented designers and invite them to share their expertise, helping them take frontend development to the next level. We will be using Drupal as an assumed base platform, but since frontend development isn't tied to a particular backend, our audience includes any frontend dev and web-focused designer.
