I recently installed Alpha 14 and created a Drupal 7 Beta 1 platform. I tried to create a site and did not see my D7B1 platform. I thought that Aegir was somehow not seeing the platform. Eventually, I realized that Aegir only shows the platforms that match the profile selected on the Site creation form. Well, that is not obvious.

Hi Team, I just started using Drupal and now I got stuck with Profiles. I'm using Content Profile module to create a profile. I would like to view the faculty and staff member's profiles with short bio (picture and name) list and link this page to a long bio (bigger picture, more detail info) page. I was wondering if anyone can help me? Thanks.

I've got a community site with a strict membership criteria: in order to be a member one must be approved by two existing community members. Hence, the question is - what is the best way to implement such workflow. Your advice would be appreciated a lot.

During registration process new users supply the names of already registered community members who can recommend them.
These 2 members receive notification emails with activate/decline links, and make their choice.
In order to activate new user's profile it must be confirmed by both of the specified community members.

I am building a site where a user can have one of two roles or for some user both roles. I would like to have a different profile page based on the role and ideally for those users with two roles, have the two profiles pages in different tabs so that the viewer of the profile can quickly switch between the two profile pages.

I have build the two profile pages using Content Profile / CCK / Panels 3

Now I am running into difficulty on how to actually show two profiles as two pages behind tabs.

Any suggestion welcome!

I'm building my user profiles with cck and the content_profile module. To explain my problem/question here's a little example:

The user profile containes fields to collect information about himself and his children (birthday, school and gender for each child). Because the quantity of children differ from family to family I don't know how many content fields are needed to be created in the first place (five children, six children … 20 children?).

Brainstormblogger uses modules: better_formats, better_messages, captcha, CCK, dst, filefield, imageapi, imageapi_gd, imagecache, imagecache_ui, imagefield, lightbox2, no_anon, pathauto, persistent_login, tagadelic, token, uploadpath, wysiwyg, admin_menu.

Drupal 6 core is patched to work correct with daylight savings time(dst module).

I'm no longer able to access other user profiles on gdo since the update.

I get an access denied error.

i have some big problem with panels!

I would like to replace profile page by panels. To do this i created panel page and i set the path to "user/%". After submiting I get the error "The path is already in use" and the URL path box turns red. The same with node/%.

Do you know how to override this? Or how can I replace every user profile page by panels?
