Graduation project about integration of social networking sites in Drupal + new module
(sorry for this rather late posting)
Hello Drupal community,
Who am I?
I'm a 24 year old Belgian student communication multimedia design. I'm a webdesigner, with more graphical skills than technical.
This (scholar) year I combine a 4/5 job with my graduation project.

I installed phpbb module. (drupal 5.3 and phpbb3)
If I change a password in phpbb profile, it doesn't works in drupal.
if drupal admin deletes a user in drupal, that user doesn't work any longer, because I have to log from drupal; but if I try to create again that username, it says

Drupal Association Badge
The 'My Account' pages on g.d.o and d.o should have a option to embed the Drupal Association Badge. Maybe use a checkbox style similar to g.o -- It would be nice to verify the badge, so maybe provide a link to the association membership with the image?

Does exist a sort-of Quiz module that shows the student the correct results after he submitted the multiple choice answers (a yes/no, or maybe a choose a,b,c... styles), and automatically adds this answer in his profile?
Moodle has this, but it puts the result inside a personal gradebook, that the student can read from his control panel (what is sort-of a profile).
Thanks in advance for your thoughts and ideas!

I came to a cross roads when I began working on a site and needed the users profile to be rich with juicy content. When I actually had a look at how much Drupal's profile module could do out of the box, I was sadly let down. After doing some research and listening to the 'Deprecated' Lullabot podcast; here are some conclusions I have come to (please let me know if you disagree):
Using CCK taxonomy fields to tag users or Tagging nodes like the profile module does
I love the way you can use a phrase like "People who live in %" using the regular Drupal profile module and then by clicking the link, get a list of all users who live in %. I'm trying to get the same thing happening with profiles as nodes. I've tried using CCK taxonomy fields in both the Node Profiles and the Bio Modules. It almost works, but only intermittantly. Sometimes I get the message "There are currently no posts in this category ..." other times, some users will show up and others won't - even when they have been tagged with the the term.

Greetings,
Guys, can you please take part in this discussion http://drupal.org/node/160546 and help understand the situation?
I've just subscribed to this group and am also interesting in user profiles destiny since I dropped core profile.module off and switched to nodeprofile.module.
I created this forum topic mostly to try to attract profile.module authors and Drupal authors and get some information from them. I also hope you guys will help to understand situation too.
Thanks again.

I spent an afternoon reinstalling/reconfiguring profiles based on both tutorials on Drupal.org and Michelle's site, and the closest I got to exactly what I need was following these steps exactly: http://drupal.org/node/130489

Yesterday I published the first version of my wiki installation profile. The installation offers the following features at the moment:
- Editing for anonymous users
- Moderator role which can revert / delete pages
- Revisions for pages
- Mediawiki input format + Image assist
- Categorization via free tagging vocabulary
- Views: All pages / All categories / All Images
- Recent changes
I will talk more about this and the future of Drupal wikis in general at my talk at OSCMS summit next week.
See you there.
