Congratulations to Google Code-In Winners

Google Summer of Code 2014 has triumphantly concluded for Drupal as a participating organization. We selected thirteen students (https://groups.drupal.org/node/423558) out of fifty project proposals from around the world and twelve of the projects passed with success. Help us by reviewing each project's code (https://groups.drupal.org/node/442493).

Drupal's Google Summer of Code program is now considered an official "Organization" on Drupal.org thanks to a discussion @ https://www.drupal.org/node/2329051 and our organization can be found @ https://www.drupal.org/node/2332527 . Our GSoC project contributions need to be proudly listed, but how should we go about this? Any ideas on how to organize all this awesome information at our new organization node?

Google Summer of Code 2014 is over and we are planning to write a summary of the entire Summer of Code experience. We want to all the students/mentors to write a one-line summary of their experience/takeaways from the program. Eventually we can post collect and post all the user stories together (something like: http://google-opensource.blogspot.in/2014/01/google-summer-of-code-veter...). So, please comment below in one line describing your experience.

This post, when complete will also be posted on Google's open source blog.

GSoC 2014 is ending and it is time to start planning for GSoC 2015. What have we learned in 2014 that we can improve on in 2015? It is never too early to start planning, so please, feel to free to add any thoughts/ideas/feedback here. Even if you're interested in being a mentor or student next summer, feel free to join this group and ping us here.

This is my first blog post after my proposal got accepted into Google Summer of Code 2014. I'll briefly explain the idea here, and in following posts I'll provide further details.
