Anyone up for explaining the $options array in the l() function for D6?
I am trying to get my head around the new l() function in drupal 6, l($text, $path, $options = array()), but I didn't understand the arguments after the $path argument in version 5 and I haven't been able to find a reference on api.drupal.org (or anywhere on the web for that matter)that explains the available indexes and values for the $options array.
Is there anyone out there that would be willing to write a short explanation describing how to use this array and listing the available values? Or if it has already been written perhaps you could enlighten me with a link.
Thanks

These are just some notes on the module SpectralDart has converted to Drupal 6. Logins and logouts (= sessions) appear to work fine, just remember to increase phpBB's session lifetime (see instructions, item 4). Changes to the profile (email, password) also appear to work fine, the same is true for the recent topics block.
I haven't tested avatars yet. I'm very tempted to shut down all of phpBB's fancy avatar protection system, since it's a performance hog too, and can be replace with a simple mod_rewrite rule.

With the recent launch of Drupal 6, I wanted to start some dialog about transitioning to the new core. Has anyone moved their sites, or created any new sites in Drupal 6? If so, what were the snags (if any) for upgrading? I have most of my Drupal installs at 5.5+, so just curious to see if there are any early adopters out there.

If we are going to generate more traffic for Drupal 6 I think we need to focus on current non Drupal CMS users - since they are familiar with what their CMS can / can't do. Drupal 6 is more elegant than Drupal 4/5 and deserves some attention from them. The drupal.org site is way more organized (one thing that turns new Drupal users off) than it was a year ago and there is talks of a new UI for Drupal.org. Now is the time to really dig in with marketing efforts.

I'm trying to update Druplet.module for Drupal 6. It's a simple module that creates new Drupal sites based on install profiles using multisite. It creates a new site directory, settings.php file, and database, and then executes the chosen install profile on the site, saving the user from having to step through the installer process.
In Drupal 5 it was fairly simple to do this:

Services for Drupal 6
The Services module for Drupal was created to provide a standardized way of supporting communication with external applications and Drupal. XML-RPC, JSON, AMFPHP and REST are just some examples of protocols that can be used as communication mediums. It's a great module which adds a lot of flexibility to Drupal, and it has just been ported to Drupal 6 with a Drupal 6 development branch.
Thanks, Scott Nelson and Marc Ingram for the help in putting this together.
