Axiell ILS -systems and Drupal?

Hello all. Is anybody reading this working with Axiell -products? Axiell is a major library system vendor here in the Nordic countries, especially for public libraries... their products (PallasPro and Origo) serve about 80% of the population of Finland, and also many in Sweden, Denmark and Norway too. It's a bit of a monopoly -situation here in Finland to be honest :\

Looking for DrupalCon Chicago co-speaker(s) on Services & API's

I'm looking for a co-speaker to submit a DrupalCon Chicago session on Services and Open API's. I want to take up the Open API part with three main topics:
* How to build an Open API with Services: modules used, write your own resource, authentication
* How to monetize your Open API
* How to promote your Open API
I'll be using a in production example which is currently in being tested and documented (more later).

I'm looking forward to find a co-speaker!

Mobile web apps

Oliver brought up mobile web solutions at Tuesday's meeting, and today I saw this list. Does anybody have any feedback about any of these technologies, and how/if they can be leveraged in a Drupal site?

Someting like this.

Let's say we have a default drupal installation with two users "User A" and "User B" and the User Relationship module to create relationships between users.
- User A and User B have no "friends".
- User A logs in and he creates several blog entries.

Integration of a No-SQL Database

About Me:

My name is John Murray. I have left introductions on other posts, and you can read about me there if you are interested.

Overview:

No-SQL databases are becoming more popular, more frequently used, and are gaining more traction as cloud and distributed computing are becoming more common in everyday web development. I would like to write an API for drupal to interact and use Cassandra as a database. Short-term goals would include creating an API for use in module development.

hook_form_alter() and content types

hi,

I'm bulding a custom module with the purpose to alter the "edit form" of every content type (i.e. the edit form of the blog content type located at admin/content/node-type/blog).

Creating new form elements to extend the standard form with my custom form elements wasn't a problem at all. When I enable my module at admin/build/modules I can see my custom form elements and everything seems to work. Here's what my ".module" file looks like:

<?php
// $Id$

/**
* Implementation of hook_form_alter().
*/
