Chcąc podzielić się zebranym doświadczeniem i wiedzą "powołuję do życia" nowy dział grupy nazwany Workshop. Jego wizja nie jest jeszcze do końca jasna i wyraźna. Na razie będę chciał zbierać tu informacje o narzędziach, przydatnych linków, tutoriali czy też screencastów.

Drupal is turning 10 this year! Drupal 7, a major new version, was released last week! Drupalcon Chicago is two months away! If ever there were a right time to find out more about Drupal, now would be that time. Conveniently, we are offering our free Introduction to Drupal workshop this Friday from 1-3PM. This workshop will provide you all the context you need to get the most out of all of the other free Drupal community events happening here locally in prep for Drupalcon Chicago and beyond. Earlier this year I asked my mailing list what they needed help with when it came to theming Drupal. Although every answer was unique, the most common frustration boiled down to, "I just don't get it. I don't understand the big picture. It's chaotic and it makes me feel stupid." ... It's as if Drupal was some kind of dangerous monster that kills kittens for fun. Drupal is powerful, no doubt, but only if you know how make it do what you want.

Are you intersted in Drupal workshops in Arabic (and English too), in Arabic countries & MENA area? I'm going to begin a series of workshops in the next few weeks, both public and private, for beginners & experts, I want to know what do you think? and what do you want to learn from this kind of workshops? and are you going to register for such workshops if it's near your place?

En Diciembre estare dando un taller acerca de Drupal en Escuelab. A lo largo de este taller los alumnos armaran una página Drupal delo tema que deseen con asoseramiento de los jefes de práctica Marco (marvil07) y Fernando (develCuy), y mío. Van hacer cuatro clases empezando el Martes primero de Diciembre, y las clases van a tener los siguientes temas:

I just wanted to let you know that the next Lullabot online workshop, called "Drupal Fundamentals" has been planned at a time convenient for people in Japan to attend. We're running the workshop in the evening US time on Mondays, which works out to be Tuesday morning in Japan!

This English-language online workshop will be happening Tuesdays at 09:00* (Tokyo time) for 6 weeks starting October 13th (that's a week from today). Each class session is 2 hours long and includes question/answer time with Lullabot's experts. The price is $395 USD which at the time of this writing works out to be about ¥35000 JPY.

This workshop is perfect for anyone who is new to Drupal or just wants to complete their basic Drupal knowledge. In addition to access to the live webcasts, attendees each get their own sandbox Drupal site, and access to the class message board for help and discussion.
