I recently received an email from my host (Arvixe) stating that they had disabled a script on one of my D7 sandbox sites due to large quantities of spam email emanating from there.

Upon investigation I found an encrypted PHP file called "sql91.php" in my modules/field/modules/options folder. I later discovered a second bogus file called "sraynr.php" in a different folder. Both of these files have been called from Russian IP addresses:

146.185.239.52
146.185.239.51

Just noticed this interesting post about Facebook's PHPNG being tested in the PHP6 branch. Of course it's really early, so there is no way of knowing if it will actually be included in a future release of PHP, but it is something to keep an eye on:

I have installed Boost module for my website to speed up it and it works excellent but as i hosting my site on a shared server, i want to speed up php by using APC but i don't know ho to install it through cPanel. I have read many tutorials but none of them explained how to install APC without using SSH and command line. I am not expert in command line ans SSH and i like to know how i can do it without using command line and SSH.
