Apres des années particulièrement éprouvantes, la Côte d'Ivoire reprend progressivement sa place sur la scène économique africaine.
Jadis la Côte d'Ivoire était un des pays les plus influents sur le plan des TIC. Elle compte bien reprendre très vite cette place perdue : en témoignent les nombreuses initiatives qui sont prises dans le pays en faveur des nouvelles technologies.
Aujourd'hui avec le DrupalDay c'est une nouvelle communauté qui va se rassembler en Côte d'Ivoire pour contribuer à la diffusion de notre CMS favori.

Doesn't specifically mention Drupal, but I thought this might be of interest. The code.nasa.gov site is Wordpress, although whitehouse.gov is Drupal.

I meant to post this earlier, sorry for the late notice. Some of the discussion is revolving around use of Drupal in government, and NASA - with Houston having both Drupal and NASA activities :) I'm trying to do my best to properly represent our HDUG.

As some of you may have seen, we've officially announced the creation of Pantheon Systems, Inc and our plans to deliver a Platform as a Service (PaaS) solution for Drupal. We're super-excited about this, and hope to solve a lot of the hard problems that surround the Drupal space in the next year.

However, it's not appropriate for a company to have a Drupal group, and the open-source work on this project continues with Pantheon Systems as a contributor. As such, we've decided to restore the group name to the original "Mercury".

Updates to the open-source/DIY script for setting up the Mercury stack will be coming in the next few weeks, as we work with Boztek and others to get something stable. After that we can start to think about new StackScripts for Linode, AMI's for EC2, and possibly a VirtuualBox image.

Are there other places you'd like to see Mercury available? Other questions you have about the transition? Feel free to post questions here and I'll do my best to answer.

Since the scope of this is too broad, I am focusing on the BIG CONCERNS of open source (especially Drupal) with respect to usability and user experience and the ways we intend to tackle them. I am particularly interested in getting YOUR reactions to this as it provides me with a fresh perspective on things.

I don't know what the community's stance is on politics and I know this is forum mainly reserved for Drupal specific matters, but this issue is central to your human rights... and could be read as yet another step to closing down open source communities. I encourage you to read on and take action... and distribute as widely as possible.

Indiana Linuxfest! Which rocks! but, they are wanting to do a drupalcon (probably more of a drupalcamp)on that Sunday....So my assumption is that they have been talking to some one(Doug? Aaron? Neil?) about doing this...

But what can we do to make this even better? The Indy DrupalCamp was a great time, I think we can build off of that success and make this amazing!
