Icons based on categories
Hi,
I've got some locations, and as per http://www.interworks.com/blogs/mmueggenborg/2012/01/03/setting-drupal-7..., I've set up a view to show my locations on an openlayers map. Now the user wants me to use different icons based on categories. I've found a module called openlayers_taxonomy, which requires that I pass taxonomy terms as arguments, and I don't see how that will help. Care to help me?

I'm using OpenLayers along with Address Field, Geofield, and Geocoder and have created several maps for a current project. I'm looking for advice on two pieces I haven't figured out yet.
Is it possible to highlight a specific location on a map that shows several locations? For example, I have six nodes feeding their locations to one map. Each node has a different location and each node displays the map with all six locations. I'd like to have the map on each node highlight that node's location with a different color marker from the other node locations. Is this possible? If so, how?

Hi everyone,
I'm hoping to get some pointers and general direction for a task I've set myself. (I'm a beginner, learning along the way so you cannot provide too much information!)

Hi group!
I've been reading quite a lot in this group lately, since I've been working on building a geo-enabled (D6) site in Drupal. I've had a look at several modules, however due to future functionalities (e.g. WFS filters) and high amount of geodata to mapped and linked, I've decided to go with the native OL library.
My basic problem is that I'm not able to include the OL library on a node. I've tried the following options:

Hey OpenLayers Module users & developers,
So, you probably have heard that Development Seed isn't doing Drupal for products or projects anymore - it's been quite a few months since I've actually started up Drupal.

Integrating external geographical data
Another exiting and wild project that a colleague has discussed with me concerns the integration of external data coming from Microstation files (in DXF format) on a openlayers type of interface.
The main purpose is to allow the user to dynamically find information related to other data. For instance imagine that you have a Microstation file with polygons representing real estate properties and you want to "fill up" those polygons with some additional and searchable data.
Does anyone had any experience with importing this kind of external data? In particular Microstation files?
