Drupal

I have been working with Drupal for a while now and first of all I should say this is one of the best CMS around with it's robust community base and following. Over the time Drupal has matured enough to stand as a leader in the Open Source CMS. However, after a careful study of Drupal as a system (sorry I am a information system analyst by trade). I personally think Drupal has failed in some areas when it comes to managing the project in itself.

I know you will jump up and say "what is he talking about?".

I am heading up to delaware / Phily last week of March, and wanted to see if there was anyone interested in meeting up. I am living in Miami at the moment, but probably moving to Baltimore or Delaware, and would like to network with more DRUPAL and iPhone developers. If someone wants to drop me a line, please do.

Motivation:
I'm going to grow quality of products we get in company I working in.

OpenPublish 1.7.1 is a maintenance release for 1.7.x branch, it includes fixes to some issues reported after 1.7.0 release (e.g. Admin 2.x troubles with Node Relationships and errors on the author page) and it also includes new Drupal core with security update.

Hi folks

I'm thinking of renting 150m2 warehouse space in Melbourne, and will be inspecting the space tomorrow. My idea is to create a creative work/play venue for web-dev (especially Drupal) and multimedia freelancers. We can work independently, as many of us already do, or collaborate on larger projects. I would also like to set up a basketball hoop and ping-pong table, maybe some beanbags. The rent is very cheap.
