This group is for everyone living in the DC metro area who's interested in Drupal. You can post here about anything relating to DC and Drupal, whether that's local job postings, events, or just a call out to talk shop over beers.

We have a great meetup every month where we get together to connect in person. The target audience is Drupal developers, users, and people who want to learn more about Drupal. We start the meetups with a round of very focused lightning talks that discuss real world solutions to existing problems, new work people have done, and Drupal news. Some of these talks are about code, and some are not. We do ask that all presenters talk on a level that everyone - including non-developers - can follow. After the talks, we chat over beer, and maybe play a few games of foosball.
We're open to ways to improve the meetups and this group, so speak up if you have ideas!
New Digital Strategy GDO Group
For anyone interested in the Federal Digital Government Strategy and Drupal, there's a new group at http://groups.drupal.org/federal-digital-government-strategy.
There are three goals for the group:
- Convene a conversation about using Drupal to implement the Digital Government Strategy goals and objectives
- Collect and share best-practices describing how agencies are using Drupal successfully
- Organize the creation of common Drupal modules that implement specific requirements of the digital strategy

I am getting far more leads for work than I can handle. I expect this to boom as of September. I need assistance rearranging the order the staff bios on our website. I can "edit" the page, drag the bios, ect into the right order, and then when I push "save order" it scrambles the information into a nonsensical order (but maintains the correct photo & bio. ect). Would love some assistance! (and I need things very easily explained; sadly I am not a CMS wiz!)
