Drupal Coworking Best Practices discussion and conference call #1
Several community organizers and members of the Drupal Coworking group are having an open conference call on on Friday, October 5, 2012 between 5-6pm Pacific (8-9pm Eastern) to discuss Drupal, coworking, best practices for organizing Drupal Coworking Fridays, and more. Join us!

Several of the Downtown Los Angeles Drupal organizers have scheduled an open conference call on October 8, 2012 between 5:30-6:30pm Pacific (8:30-9:30pm Eastern). Anyone who's interested in being part of our organizing efforts — or is just interested in seeing how we organize our events, including Drupal Design Camp LA and the Downtown Los Angeles Drupal meetups — is welcome to join us!
For calling in by phone and Skype, we use FreeConferenceCallHD. To receive the conference call information, click the Signup button below. We're using the same call-in information that we've used in the past, so signing up is optional for anyone who has already participated in these conference calls.
The agenda will consist of discussion around our upcoming events, including Drupal Design Camp LA and the Downtown Los Angeles Drupal meetup.
What's Drupal Design Camp LA 2012?
DDCLA 2012 is our Drupal design, theming, accessibility and usability conference in Los Angeles, California. Our second annual DDCLA conference will be at Droplabs in Downtown Los Angeles, California, on October 12, 13 & 14, 2012.

The next general Downtown Los Angeles Drupal meetup is on Tuesday, October 16, 2012 and will be at Sensis Agency in Downtown Los Angeles. Those interested in attending this meetup remotely are welcome to join us via WebEx.
At this meetup, we're having our usual news and announcements, raffle prizes, a series of lightning talks, which are short, bite-sized presentations, and a featured presentation by Chris Shattuck (@Chris_Shattuck) on how Drupal is used at Build a Module.com, a video subscription website with nearly 800 videos on Drupal development, theming and site building.

We're organizing a code sprint for Sunday Oct 14th to help get Twig into core.
Jen Lampton will be joining us to help provide direction and the Twig team will try to flag some novice issues for us to focus on.

Join us at Droplabs for a BuildaModule.com mentored training. This training is from 10am to 2pm on Friday Oct 12th.
