About
Our goal is to get 1% of active users on drupal.org to contribute to Drupal core by 2014 by organizing "learn sprints" and "issue sprints" at Drupal User Group meetups, camps and conferences.
drupalladder.org is a central place for people to find and contribute lessons and materials. drupalladder.org is built on the Drupal Ladder distro, which people can download and use on their personal computers to work through the Drupal Ladder lessons.
The Drupal Ladder distro and drupalladder.org are products of the Boston Initiative, an experiment aiming to figure out how to make it easier for people to learn about and contribute to Drupal.
Note that we do not accept job postings or non-Drupal Ladder events in this group. Any posts that go off-topic from the goals of this group will be removed.

I recently fired up the Sonoma County Drupal Users Group and haven't invested a whole lot since I've been busy, but it's growing legs of its own.
We've had more job postings than we have Drupalistas. I think Drupal Ladder might be a great way to make our group a solid talent pipeline for Drupal.
Saw the Ladder mentioned on BADCamp site and thought to post because I won't be able to attend the session.

Hi,
I came across this project by accident. I love the idea of learning Drupal with the help of mentors and experienced Drupal users who might be more local to me. It looks like a scheme I saw a while back - Dojo - which doesn't appear to have taken off, unfortunately.
Although I can register on the Drupalladder.org site, there doesn't appear to be a way I can follow the project or register my interest in a future initiative in my locality. Is this something that will be introduced?

Thank you to the Drupal Ladder project, from Oxford Drupal Users Group
Dear Drupal Ladder project,
Ten members of the Oxford Drupal Users Group (OxDUG) had a great time last weekend doing the first five rungs of the Drupal Ladder. Here's a writeup of our day.
As we went on, we did provide some feedback in the comments of the lesson plans. However, because most of this feedback was - necessarily - negative, we also wanted
to just say thanks, for providing the structure that helped us to train up.
