The Indy Drupal Users Group started meeting in January of 2008. Since that time we've ranged from meeting once a month, to twice a month, to infrequently. We've had instructional meetups, guest speakers, some hack-a-thons, and pulled off 2 DrupalCamps.
Right now, the best way to keep up with future meetings is to join us at http://www.meetup.com/Drupal-Indy
We're currently meeting monthly at Angie's List in downtown Indianapolis.
Drupal Camp Nashville will kick-off on April 30, 2011 at 8am!
Due to a conflict with another local event, Drupal Camp Nashville 2011 has been moved out to April 30th.
We will have the camp site up within the next 2 weeks with more details. Cost is currently being determined but will be between $50-$75 dollars. We will possibly have a business focused day of training the day before the camp that will be available for those who are new to Drupal.
If you are interested in sponsoring please contact jlmeredith at http://britesparkz.com/contact
Just a reminder that this month's meetup is this Thursday! We wanted to try a different night and get it out of the way before Thanksgiving plans take over everyone's free time. Hope you can make it! With the recent Drupal Camp and Indy Give Camp, there should be plenty to talk about!
The Drupal Camp Indy event this weekend was a great success! We had slots for around 90 people but maxed that out and actually had around 100 Drupalers in attendance!
There were 2 issues that we had, but other than that the day went smoothly and I've heard a number of good responses and a number of Thank You's from people who are grateful that we put on the event.Read more

I recently installed Ubercart and so far so good. However I have one problem so far. In the catalog view, my image overlays on top of the product row. I changed the grid view to 1 instead of 2 and it still did the same thing.
It looks good in IE but I am a Firefox user and using 3.6.10.
Here is the link that show what I am trying to explain and any help would be greatly appreciated.

A lot of times our clients want to link a menu item directly to a file for download. Typically they have something like a pdf brochure that they want to be downloadable from a primary menu link or linked to from within another node.
In the past we would ftp the file to the server and just set the path to link directly to that file. Now we use a module called 'Downloadable File' that allows the content managers to create these downloadable files without requiring FTP access.
You can get the 'Downloadable File' module here http://features.centogram.com/node/4 .

I want to create/customize an admin_menu for a certain role. Basically I don't want the content editors to have a menu with only the task that they usually need to perform.
Is there a way to swap out the structure of the admin_menu or possibly add a second menu on a role by role basis?
By popular demand, we are putting together another How 2 Drupal Class! This one will be all about Drupal theming! The class will be lead by myself and Greg Albright of Greg Albright Design, both graduates from the Herron School of Art, so we are both themers who push the boundaries of Drupal Design.
The class will start at 6 with an overview of theming basics, then after a short break at 7, we will dig into going from a photoshop mockup to a living Drupal Theme. If there is time we will wrap up our session with some tips and tricks for efficient theming development and resources.Read more
I've been lurking around here for a while, but haven't done any posting. I was hoping for some help. I need to create a custom screen for a user with a specific role to add/remove users from specific roles. I also need to allow that user to edit/create rolls from a list of predefined permissions. I'm interested in what input you may have in how to best achieve this. Here are more details:
