The Indy Drupal Users Group started meeting in January of 2008. Since that time we've ranged from meeting once a month, to twice a month, to infrequently. We've had instructional meetups, guest speakers, some hack-a-thons, and pulled off 2 DrupalCamps.
Right now, the best way to keep up with future meetings is to join us at http://www.meetup.com/Drupal-Indy
We're currently meeting monthly at Angie's List in downtown Indianapolis.

Drupal core search PLUS faceted search module isn't delivering the results I expect.
When I enter "lowell" and select "anywhere" i get no results.
But if i select the "content" field then I get 4 results because "lowell" appears in the field named "content" four times.
If I select the "remarks" field i get two results.
i should see ALL results when the "anywhere" value is selected but instead I get ZERO.
The option of "anywhere" comes as a default value provided by the faceted search module. I've never used this module before so I'm stumped.Read more

The Drupal Camp Indy event this weekend was a great success! We had slots for around 90 people but maxed that out and actually had around 100 Drupalers in attendance!
There were 2 issues that we had, but other than that the day went smoothly and I've heard a number of good responses and a number of Thank You's from people who are grateful that we put on the event.Read more

I recently installed Ubercart and so far so good. However I have one problem so far. In the catalog view, my image overlays on top of the product row. I changed the grid view to 1 instead of 2 and it still did the same thing.
It looks good in IE but I am a Firefox user and using 3.6.10.
Here is the link that show what I am trying to explain and any help would be greatly appreciated.Read more

A lot of times our clients want to link a menu item directly to a file for download. Typically they have something like a pdf brochure that they want to be downloadable from a primary menu link or linked to from within another node.
In the past we would ftp the file to the server and just set the path to link directly to that file. Now we use a module called 'Downloadable File' that allows the content managers to create these downloadable files without requiring FTP access.
You can get the 'Downloadable File' module here http://features.centogram.com/node/4 .

I want to create/customize an admin_menu for a certain role. Basically I don't want the content editors to have a menu with only the task that they usually need to perform.
Is there a way to swap out the structure of the admin_menu or possibly add a second menu on a role by role basis?Read more
By popular demand, we are putting together another How 2 Drupal Class! This one will be all about Drupal theming! The class will be lead by myself and Greg Albright of Greg Albright Design, both graduates from the Herron School of Art, so we are both themers who push the boundaries of Drupal Design.
The class will start at 6 with an overview of theming basics, then after a short break at 7, we will dig into going from a photoshop mockup to a living Drupal Theme. If there is time we will wrap up our session with some tips and tricks for efficient theming development and resources.Read more
