I've been rambling / showing off aspects of these two modules for almost 1 and a 1/2 years now and FINALLY they have been completely rewritten in an open way. They are two separate modules though I'd recommend using them together as that's how they've been tested fully. They are currently being used during our active semester in 4 courses and so far results have been very positive. If you're looking to do online assessment with Drupal, this is a big component and I hope that I can integrate my solution with other projects discussed in this group.

As a side note, Network Manager also was released today to help w/ management of large batches of sites on the same server (common in higher Ed at least). http://drupal.org/project/network_manager
